Much like last week, I found this week's state politics to be more eventful than how Wisconsin factored in to the presidential election. This is particularly true when it comes to the U.S. Senatorial race between former Gov. Tommy Thompson (R) and Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D). Earlier this week, the Thompson campaign put out a new attack ad criticizing a vote Baldwin cast in 2007. You can view the entire ad below.
Like most politicians, Baldwin couldn't just ignore this attack so issued a personal statement defending her vote.
But verbal attacks weren't the only assaults in Wisconsin, there were also physical altercations surrounding state politics.
I also posted an interesting quote from a Gentlemen Quarterly's article that received the most amount of likes and reblogs I've ever gotten on Tumblr: a grand total of 57.
Next week will be the final full of "The 12" week before Election Day. With the political season coming into fruition and things getting more dramatic by the minute, stay tuned for the next 11 days.
